Liverpool FC arrived at Bukit Jalil National Stadium last night for a training session before they were to meet Malaysian XI on Friday night, July 24, 2015 to end the 2015 Asia tours. The Reds played a 60-minutes game against the Malaysian Super League, Felda United during an open training in front of Malaysian fans.
Liverpool team packed full of youth players who played along their regular players Andre Wisdom, Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho and Lazar Markovic had triumphed over the Malaysian club side 7-0, where Danny Ings, the newly signed striker scored a hat-trick during the game.
The local side struggled to keep pace, with Liverpool's control on the ball and incisive attacking. However, it was good exposures for the team to play against a giant club such as Liverpool to raise the confidence level of player to weather the remaining league matches.
